The Community and Employment Supports (CES) Waiver is an Arkansas Medicaid program that helps people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities live at home and take part in their community.
Who it's for: people with an intellectual or developmental disability that is expected to last for life, who need a lot of support in at least three areas of daily life. Families who don't qualify for regular Medicaid may still qualify for the waiver.
How we help: supportive living, including daily living skills, money and budgeting help, decision-making support, community outings and rides, communication and behavior support, therapy follow-through and health maintenance.
Other CES Waiver services: the waiver also covers services like supported employment, adaptive equipment, home modifications, specialized medical supplies, community transition and crisis intervention. We provide supportive living. Your PASSE care coordinator arranges any other waiver services you need.
How to apply: call the DHS Developmental Disabilities Services Intake and Referral line at 501-683-5687. Approved applicants join a waitlist and are offered a slot by approval date, then assigned a PASSE plan and care coordinator.
