How our CPR classes work

Open to anyone

We teach CPR for our caregivers and for anyone else who needs it: family members, parents, other caregivers and community members. No experience is needed.

American Heart Association

Our classes are through the American Heart Association (AHA), taught by our instructor, Breanna Schwarz. You’ll learn adult, child and infant CPR, using an AED, choking relief and basic first aid.

Where classes are held

We host classes at our office, 2608 N 2nd Street, Suite 123 in Rogers, or at a local library. We’ll let you know the location when your class is scheduled.

Good for 2 years

Your CPR certification is valid for 2 years. The expiration date is printed on your eCard.

Bring a drink and a snack

Classes are long, so bring a drink and a snack, wear comfortable clothes (you’ll practice on the floor), and bring a photo ID.

Our caregivers: is your CPR card about to expire? Tell us.

It is your duty to notify our office when your CPR certification is due to expire, so we can arrange your renewal class before it runs out.

Check the expiration date on your card, and call us at 479-278-7059, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, as soon as you see it coming up.

How to claim your AHA eCard

Your CPR card comes as an electronic card (eCard) from the American Heart Association.

  1. 1

    Watch for the email

After class, you’ll get an email from the American Heart Association (eCards@heart.org) with a link to claim your eCard. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it.

  2. 2

    Click the link

Click the claim link in the email. It opens your student profile. Check that your name and email are correct.

  3. 3

    Set your security question

Choose a security question and answer, accept the terms, and click Submit. Remember your answer, you’ll need it to find your card later.

  4. 4

    Take the short survey

Answer the quick survey about your course.

  5. 5

    Save your eCard

Your eCard appears right away. Save it as a PDF or print it, and send our office a copy if you’re one of our caregivers.

Need to find your card later, or never got the email? Go to ecards.heart.org/student/myecards, enter your first name, last name and email (or your eCard code), and answer your security question. You can also call our office for help.
